Illinois Homecoming

This photograph was captured on October 23, 2019 near a tree by the Alma Mater statue at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, IL, USA. Just 3 days earlier, the University's famous week-long Homecoming festival  had concluded. School pride was boundless and the spirits high. As my friend, Victoria Chen, and I were walking back after our photography class, we spotted a tree with beautiful, orange leaves. She was wearing a blue jacket that day. With orange and blue being our university's colors, I thought it was too good of an opportunity to miss. We took multiple photographs, but this one is my favorite, since she is simply marveling at the beauty of our campus.
